Juneberry Baby: Gender Reveal Party!

So let's just say you've already had a baby shower, and with your second, third, (or if you are really out of your mind, fourth and beyond baby) you would love a fun & fancy way to celebrate beyond your run of the mill baby sprinkle.

I just adore the idea of a 'Gender Reveal' party.  Such a wonderful way to gather all of your friends together and announce whether your next little munchkin will be a boy or girl.  And for the daring parents-to-be out there, how about waiting to find out until the day of, at the same time as all of your friends & family?

Here's the plan:  You head to your 2nd Trimester Ultrasound, ask the tech to write down the gender on a slip of paper and place it inside a sealed envelope.  Then high-tail it to the bakery to deliver the top secret info to the chef, asking them to bake a delicious cake or cupcakes for your party with the color of your baby's gender inside.

When everyone is at the party and you are ready for the big reveal, either cut into the cake or take a bite of your cupcake and.....Surprise!  It's a ________!!

Wonderful!  And I just love a sweet little gender-neutral pink & blue Owl-themed party.  Here's a ton of inspiration to get those wheels in your head a-spinning.  And stay tuned tomorrow for a brand new line of Owl-themed invitations & favor labels...headed to the Juneberry Lane Etsy shop hot off the press . . .

Don't forget the cake pops!!

And the adorable little cupcake toppers . . .

Perhaps earth tones are more your style . . .

Or a shock of yellow to brighten the mood!

And why not have your guests make their guess as they walk in the door...and hang them on these gorgeous DIY pastel clothespins . . .

And for the favors?  These precious cello-wrapped Owl cookies are just delicious . . .

How much fun is that?  And don't forget to head back over tomorrow for the matching invitations & favor labels . . .
